We use Fargo HDP printers exclusively. HDP printers use retransfer (reverse-transfer) printing technology. This superior process prints the image onto a clear film first, which is then transferred and adhered to the card's surface. This provides a higher quality, more durable, and more secure card because the print is protected under a clear layer, and it can print over the entire card surface, including the edges.
